Reflecting the growing interest in agile methods, particularly extreme programming (XP), the text examines the need for increased responsiveness to client needs and the improved speed of delivery that XP can offer. In response to reviewer comments and suggestions, material has been added in Chapter 7 on Goldratt's critical chain management technique.
