  • Browse e-resources by subject, publisher, media type, A–Z or topic guides.
  • Use quotation marks for exact phrases where supported. AND narrows results; OR broadens them.
  • Use Advanced Search for title, author and publisher fields.
  • Refine by publication year, media type and access type (Subscribed, Available in Library) where available.
  • Research Articles search queries publisher websites live, so results and filters vary by publisher.
  • Check the access label before opening or downloading a resource.

  • View results in Grid or List format.
  • Filter by subject, publisher, author, media type, access type, year or Search Within.
  • Remove filters to return to the full result set.
  • Results are sorted by relevance by default; you can sort by title or year where available.
  • Use the tabs or "More" to switch between e-catalogue records, research articles and other content.

  • Full text needs a current library subscription and the right access on your account.
  • Off campus, login is required and off-campus rights must be activated on your account by the e-Library.
  • Off-campus rights can expire and need reactivation by library staff, to prevent misuse of copyrighted resources.
  • If you see an error off campus, contact [email protected].

  • Use "Add to Reading List" to save resources and organise them into folders.
  • Your Reading List can include reading history and saved searches.
  • Export citations in formats such as APA, MLA and Chicago.
  • Check citation details and follow the style your course or publisher requires.
  • Share resources only through platform features, respecting copyright, licences and privacy.

  • The Webhook feature saves external webpage links to your Reading List.
  • Paste the URL into Webhook and select "Get Data" to fetch the page details.
  • You can install the browser extension and link it to your account.
  • Saving a link does not give access to restricted content on that website.

  • If you cannot find a resource or open its full text, use the "Request an Item" form in the platform menu.
  • Login is required; title and author are mandatory.
  • For registration, access or technical help, contact [email protected] or [email protected].
  • Send feedback through the platform or directly to the library.

  • Violations of the library code of conduct may lead to disciplinary action under university procedures.
  • Theft or abuse of library resources is taken seriously and referred to the appropriate university process.

  • The library runs information-literacy, user-education and orientation programmes, at the start of the academic year and on request.

  • Keep yourself informed of the latest Library Policy and university rules.
  • Policy changes follow the university's review and approval process.
